The last couple times I used my kodi app it asked for permission to microphone and access to my pictures. I didn’t remember that happening before or did I miss something?

As far as I remember, this has always happened as Kodi needs access to your files to install addons and play media stored on your device.

Hi..whenever i install kodi on desktop pc, firestick or through bluestacks on windows etc im getting error...network not connected. ive tried various versions, different builds but always the same. Thanks for video..Does anyone know how to backup up my Kodi 20.4 on FireSticks with O.S. 8.x.x wh;ich I think is Android 11 and up? In the past, I just copied the .kodi file and placed it on the new device. But now it is blocked by Android 11 and up, cannot copy paste the files in the Android/Data file. I tried the Kodi Backup Program but could not get it to work. Any suggestion appreciated. FireStick 4k Max latest version, Onn Android box, both are blocked for privacy and data security by O.S.

Yes Kodi will still work. Especially if you have a VPN and clean your cache occasionally.

i dont know why but i have never been able to get kodi to work properly long term, i have tried so many recommended builds and kodi versions but they always stop working or have issues, last week i uninstalled for the last time as i had put a new version and new recommended build on my firestick but then it just stopped working, opened it but it closed and went back to my main screen despite trying and trying again, i honestly dont understand why so many people rave about it when its never worked right for me and only has links when it does much as film apps which have proved much more reliable for me with not half as many issues, i dont think its very good at all myself just frustrating

No worries at all! Everybody has their own personal preferences. For me, I'm a huge fan of Kodi and have been using it for over a decade now. Can't say enough good things about it - it's been a fantastic experience!

Do you have enough storage space on your device? If you want to install Kodi but are running out of space, you may need to make some room by uninstalling some of your apps or clearing out your device.
