I have a similar kit and install is quite easy. One note, you may want to consider adding the cellular module and installing the app on your phone. It allows you to start your vehicle from anywhere. When I am leaving work in the Summer, I start vehicle so it is cool when I get it in and just the reverse in Winter. Feature is free for first year with purchase of module and then small charge every year after that.

Great video I like that the car will turn off if someone opens the door but will the door stay locked while I remote start?

I thought so as well at first, it seems as if it’s a security feature and how it works oem

It is a feature of Toyota and Lexus across all products and nothing you can do about it.
