You are doing what I asked in other Cessna fourms and never got a reply. For a review like you just did. I did everything but the shims and a new damper.... awaiting for your flight test

I wish there were an easier solution to the shimmy problem. Unfortunately it seems every aspect of the system needs to be addressed. So far my results are good. I’ll post more asap.

Ya know, I had the same thought too. But then I found it that way in a Cessna manual also… 🤷‍♂️🤓

I think it’s far and above, not only because it’s serviceable, but it’s hydraulic / temperature compensating vs just a rubber bumper.
