Hi bro, I'd like to know more about this console cuz I'd like to buy one, but all I see are bad reviews about the steamdeck and the Rog Ally, so I'm afraid of buying one because u know they're kind of expensive, so I'd like to receive some recommendations about which one to choose, I wanna play games like COD warzone, fortnite, multiversus etc, and I like the steamdeck but it's really complicated to install any king of windows in the steamdeck, so I'd to hear your opinion about the rog ally for these games or directly for any kind of games like how its performance, stability etc.

What if you get an ally with no windows on it at all? What are the steps to take?

You should be able to follow the same steps. The motherboard on the Ally has been flashed with a file that will allow ASUS's Windows 11 image to install. Jump into the BIOS and choose the ASUS Cloud Recovery option. Then follow the rest of the steps. Have fun and thank you for the support!

Dawn no easy on this hand console only yesterday i was playing n downloading something after its shutdown i on my alloy and voila reboot not loading i tryied cloudmode but the console give it some problem i get logged with my phone i but the bitlocker and avanced after i was having some essue with cloud recovery i was something i made it wrong i grap my pen n instaled a normal windows were its the wifi its not installed them have fond your video but i till do not make when i restart it restarts the windows 11 not the sus one

I have to flash windows on it. The cloud windows i have is wiped or none existent. It isnt a option to boot from after cloud recovery.

For some reason my ROG won’t detect my 1TB M.2 SSD but my laptop will… I have tried cloud recovery on the ROG but when it gets to the “Cloud Recovery” point it said “failed ErrorCode 0x00840063”

I wonder if your drive is an M.2 SATA drive and not M.2 NVME

Man I cloned my OG ally when I upgraded to the X. Now the new one works great but I can’t update windows. I get a install error. Do you think this is related?

I have a question, for some reason I cannot add my drawing tablet to the rog ally I looked into it other people cant as well, buttons work pen doesn't. But for some reason on the steam deck it does work for people so I assume it's a software issue with the specific version of windows that the ROG ally gives, so I think in theory installing normal windows should work. What do you think could fix it?

I'd first check to see if there is a driver for the tablet. Otherwise, you might be able to find some software that could allow remapping buttons. It might be able to see the pen. That's what I did once to get a PS5 controller to work.

Do i need to back up cloud before doing all this on my old drive?

The admin username and password doesn’t bypass anything. It won’t advance with both admin as username and password
