What pros won't tell you. If you cant use shift + F10, try Fn + shift + F10. Sometimes the keyboard on the laptop is set to function keys as default, so if you press just f10 you will be pressing a special function not the actual F10. Leave a like :)

Very true - that is also sometimes the case with other functions - like backlit keyboards, and video source... Toggle the fn key's state back and forth can goof up anyone...

I seem to have bricked my PC! On a new PC with no OS I did as instructed: Shift F10 (then full screen with mouse to get the cursor to the command prompt) then oobe/bypassnro And the computer rebooted to blackness. The screen does not show anything. If I turn the screen on and off it says that there is no signal to be displayed. If I reboot all I get is blackness. Someone else had this and solved (?) the problem by using a different display connection (not Display Port but HDMI. I am using HDMI so I will try display port). SOLVED one of the following 1) I connected my display to a port on my GPU. This display flickered briefly. It may have been irrelevant. 2) I connected a different (more simple/generic?) portable display to the HDMI output of my motherboard. This is is more likely. 3) I pressed keys on my keyboard which caused the display to wake up. I don't think it was as simple as this but it may have been.

Maybe you have a laptop and the function keys have a primary function like volume up/ down etc. In this case you’ll have to hold down tha FN key at the same time. FN + Shift + F10

It still works fine with the latest update. I just installed W11 Pro 24H2 last week on a new PC using this method. Just make sure you're not connected to the Internet while you're installing - so, turn off your WiFi or unplug your ethernet cable.

this method no longer works. Neither does shift+fn+f10, however opening a task window using ctrl shift esc then clicking on "open new task" then browsing for CMD in the system32 folder and clicking on it will SOMETIMES work but its hit or miss.....I;m beginning to dislike microsoft
