When I had my TJ, I removed all of the front carpets, fully removed all of the drain plugs and put rubber floor mats in. I had a bikini top and tonneau cover to keep most rain out. When I got some rain in or hit deep puddles, the water would just run out. The rubber mats over the holes kept large amounts of water from flooding in, say like going through bog holes in the Pine Barrens.

I would definitely consider that if it was strictly a trail rig.. Pine Barrens, I wrecked really bad there way back on my CR500.

@@BEASTProjects sand can be challenging on a dirt bike. Not much room for error on those narrow trails with all the trees there.

Have you done many? I’ve read horror stories of people snapping the body bolts due to the loctite. Wondering if this was a concern for you and how you’d handle it.
