Putting this on a stucco home in Florida, would there be any issues with moisture getting behind these panels and causing mold/mildew?

These panels have a built-in designed drainage area and ventilation as only 5% of the panel actually touches the house. so the answer to your question would be no as long as the stucco is in good shape, and there are no cracks there would be no issues

Interesting product but I have one concern, no drainage board was installed between the panels and inner wall. Many people have complained about the base wall rotting out who have used similar products because water could not drain away properly.

well for starters those are probably the diy. folks it's sealed with clear caulk and top bridge caps.if installed correctly water shouldnt get inbetween unless you live in a high humidity area you should be fine.

@@parrisestatessouthernhomec3246 the problem is when you have a hot and cold temp between day and night condensation is created behind that panels. So if it has nowhere to go it will create a mold or rot issue at some point.

I would say buy a zip drainage wrap or a hydro gap house wrap that would solve any issues.

Our panels have an inch and a half set off of the house to where there’s an inch and a half gap between the panel and the home only 5% of the panel touches but we do provide for a drainfield and airflow behind door panels, but that’s to say that there’s water gonna be coming in through the panel and that’s by design not possible

Why didn’t u put a vapor barrier in between the wood and stone

The house was newly built and behind the cement siding there was already on the home was a moisture barrier. The moisture barrier along with the cement board plus it being caulked was more than enough protection. Couple that with the fact that our panels don’t sit right on the home, as only about 5% of the panel touches the house there’s an air space of an inch behind the panel face where condensation drip and air evaporation can occur.

By design it doesn’t leak, but even if it did, there is an air space behind 95% of the panel that allows for condensation and or evaporation to take away any water

U still need your own moister barrier to protect your self , plus them screws will rust eventually
