Unlike the US, the Aus "TR" was only released in limited numbers (150) as the Club Spec. We only get three trim combo's normally across the range.

Looks great, Que! I never got the chance to throw one on mine before I traded it in. With some dark tint, the non-carbon fiber section should look better too, so don't sweat that. Throw some nice fat rims on it... dayum! :D Also heard no STi for this gen, so yeah, I don't think it's sacrilege. More of a homage. Keep these videos coming, good sir!

Subaru not coming out with a wing for the VB WRX models is a good indicator that these oversized wings don’t fit well with these WRX variants. At least wait for an OEM version from Subaru to drop instead of slapping on a wing that has never come out for a VB WRX model.

They have OEM wings...😂 There's a carbon fiber swan neck and traditional STI wing you can order directly from Japan Subaru for this generation WRX. It's an option in Japan and Australia, and these particular wings have been tested for aerodynamic effect. The JDM OEM STI style wing is wider and slightly lower than most of the aftermarket Chinese STI style wings people are putting on their cars.

I'm only putting a wing tested by STI for this generation. There's a wider traditional wing like yours and a swan neck wing that STI has tested on JDM STI S4s. I'm putting the STI CF swan neck on mine after I get it professionally tuned. There are people who care but they are stupid, always good to be able to identify idiots. Someone says something bad and you know that they are dumb, and that you can't trust them with anything important.

@@QueTheChaotic Swan neck wing is a budget thing for me, probably a three year vehicle refresh modification instead of getting a new car. I have an aggressive deck lid spoiler that is going on after the ceramic coating is done curing, also carbon fiber to balance out the NBR CF hood scoop replacement. I figure that would add some symmetry between front and back. Funny story, the other day I was entering base and a Marine scanned my ID. He said 'dude, I love your car' before looking at my ID again, then says 'Master Sergeant!' really quickly. I didn't see a single VB WRX on base until a month or so after I got mine, saw three yesterday and got waved at. I felt like that Marine forcing rank out and slammed my hand up to wave back, not used to the Subaru wave...
