Get the shift stop (I think you said you already have), shift plate, shift bushing, positive shift kit, transmission mount, and pitch stop. Your car will feel and sound significantly more mechanical. Inexpensive and very often overlooked mods. Most people just wanna go for power right away. Bonus cheap mods for improving the feel of your car are the rear subframe lockdown and steering dampener lockdown.

Thanks a lot! I thought the shift stop would be enough but i guess it was just one piece to the shifting puzzle. Would a short shifter be easier and cheaper? I wouldn't dare touch the power with a shifter that feels how it does now.

@@QueTheChaotic the shift stop was the very first drivetrain mod I did as well. What I would do is get all of the drivetrain mods I listed above and install them all at the same time because they’re basically all in the same place. Don’t get a short shifter yet until you install the shift plate (various brands out there). For instance, the Cobb shift plate reduces your throws by 15% or 30%. You can try the 30% reduction. If it’s not enough, then you can look into a short shifter. It will feel dramatic though, almost as if you just installed a short shifter lol. Lastly, if you want to hear a lot of engine noise and transmission wine and want your car to sound like a race car, then go for a solid pitch stop and transmission mount. If you want to reduce NVH, then you can get the OEM Group N parts which are made of thick hard rubber that are much more durable than the stock parts.

I feel you on the shifter quality. I have a 23 Wrx and that’s the only thing I really dislike about it. Shifting into 3rd gear just feels bad especially at high rpms. Id like to see what more you do to the car!

@@QueTheChaotic it’s a full replacement, I have only seen a few with it and a few reviews. I plan on buying it next month. I mean you felt the WRX shifter lol you can’t do worse than that. They also have a sponsor program on their website. I would reach out you might be able to do a video and get one sent to you.
