I just finished restoring a 1963 Corvette Split Window and I am starting another split window build but this time its a race car build. I will be making videos every Friday. After watching you use, repair, and straighten some birdcage and body parts in poor shape, I looked at some of the corvette parts suppliers websites... WOW, they must make this stuff with gold in it...... I get it now....

Hey there Mitch, In my neck of the woods, the grinder means it's time to clean up the horrible globs that my "welding" left behind. Yours look better! What do you do for rust preventative in the recessed nooks and crannies on the birdcage and chassis? Does spray paint get down in there? Take care, Dan

Always great to watch your process Mitch.. I'm curious, to you use the 3M 08115 panel bond adhesive or something else? That's what was recommended to me for my 56 Vette project, but it's pretty pricey for the small size that you get.

Hey Mitch, what are the bonding strips for ? Just to hide the attachment of the fiberglass I have done some kitcars and never came across them
