My favorite brand is 12volt solutions. They have kits for almost everything! I’ve bought them for almost all my vehicles and haven’t had ANY problems. They got kinda pricey so I moved to start-x to try. It’s an Amazon only product but so far it’s worked flawlessly. The start-x kit has been in my RAV4 since April 2023 and no issues. If you go on Amazon just type in your year and model and it should pop up. Hope this helps!

Another question, once the vehicle engine starts with the remote, Does the remote LED keep blinking intermittently while the engine still running?

I have heard it depends on the kit and the vehicle because some have said theirs doesn’t blink but mine does. They were designed to blink to notify you it’s still running. They also blink green for confirmation and blink red if the function didn’t work with different audio sounds as well. Maybe a bit more than you were asking, but figured I throw it in anyways. Hope this helps!

@771nghia even if the light doesn’t blink, continue with the programming. The light isn’t required to blink for it to program. Some do, some don’t. It’s mainly about the time holding the button.

Sorry, just seeing this. It should work, but all car manufacturers are different. If you have the remote start kit I mentioned and you’re not using a valet key, it should work.

Unfortunately not really. These cheap kits don’t have many options but they do offer a one way remote. I think they are half the price of this one. Can’t remember, it’s been a little while since I researched them. With the one way, you can start it from the same-ish distance but the remote won’t let you know with a conformation chime and constant blinking to let you know it started and is running. I’ve had cars in the past with one ways and a few times the car never started, so that 2 way is the only way for me now.
