Thank you so much! The manual was completely incorrect somehow. I am adding summary/clarification steps below. The part I wasn't getting right at first in this procedure was RELEASING the remote button when the LED goes solid blue. If you continue holding too long the LED goes off and it doesn't "take" the programming (like counting to exactly 12 or just counting too slowly). Here are the steps: 1. Turn ignition ON-OFF-ON 2. Press and release brake 4x 3. Press and hold remote button. Remote’s LED will blink blue, then red, then off, then solid blue. RELEASE when solid blue. Will give Green confirmation LED and beep. Repeat step 3 for any additional remotes. 4. Turn off ignition and remove key. 5. Test remote. Done.

Thanks for the video, I checked out another video and went down a rabbit hole doing some research that all these Fortin Evo ones, MPC and StartX modules etc are made by the same company with the same tech. So these remotes will work with any of the three. I myself have installed it on the startx module/harness and it works fine. The factory toyota camry remote range is really bad, I'd say may be 10 if not 15 feet at best so after the remote start install this was a necessary upgrade.

For mine I had to cycle the LEDs on the Evo All until I got a red and blue. Then I released and held the button until the LEDs went off and came back again. Then pushed the start button to get the antenna to program mode. The rest are similar.

Im only guessing this procedure could be common with other similar kits from Fortin like the RFK442 two way 4 button remotes. Thank you for putting this together.

Just an FYI for people looking at this for the RFK442, once the led blinks, you press the bottom button, then the lock button. You do not hold it for 12 seconds.

I HAVE A QUESTION I have a Fortin RM 442 When I use the remote start enter the car insert the key to on everything works fine But if I use the remote start and either hit the brake ( turns it off ) or use the remote to turn it off When I put the key in the ignition to start the car for some reason the starter seems to crank 5 or 6 times and then starts Do you know why this would happen ?

@@JackofAllMasterofNone it’s ok the company e mailed me back and gave me instructions on how to do a master reset of the unit After that you simply program it again as if it were new

So how much range are you actually getting?

I haven't tested the max range but it has never not been able to start the car in any building I've been in including the grocery store and a mall.
