today on this guys garage we install a clutch pressure plate release bearing with slave cylinder in a 2005 mustang ,we give the best information possible without doing any extra work . this is a fairly hard repair and would rate it on a scale of three out of five on the difficulty meter but can be done with basic hand tools.

I look at your videos all the time I currently have a 2010 Mustang V6 4.0 5 speed I replaced the clutch in everything fly well everything problem is bleeding the system I didn't blanch breathe to throw out bearing how can I bleed it in the car the master cylinder for the brakes is also the reservoir for the clutch
@thisguysgarage

i did do a video on bleeding this particular system , pump the clutch 10 times walk away for an hour , pump clutch 10 more times ,repeat this method 3 or four times should be fully bled. let me know how you make out.

Bench bleed the slave cylinder before you install it. Nevermind the clutch fix that oil leak.
@thisguysgarage
@thisguysgarage 2 жыл бұрын
It's undercoating... The reservoir for the slave cylinder is combined with the brake master cylinder so there is that. KZbin has room for your video on the topic by the way... Have a good day 😊

I replaced my clutch on my 2007 ford mustang gt and for some reason, the wrench light came out. It’s not accelerating the way it was before and it only goes up to 3500 rpms each shift.

so you dont have to remove the driveshaft or exhaust?
@thisguysgarage

The driveshaft has to come out. Depending on your exhaust system maybe ye maybe no. You have to judge if you have the room to bring the transmission back 6 inches before you lower it. Great question 👍

I replaced my clutch flywheel and tob in a 2009 mustang gt. I got everything together and it shifted like butter on jackstands. Soon as i put the car down still running it wouldn’t shift at all. Trapped air maybe? I have a firm pedal just wont disengage the clutch now. The car starts Moving going to first just wont go into gear

Ok so a few things here I'm curious about. Why was the exhaust not removed to give yourself and the transmission room to properly remove the slave cylinder line and transmission itself instead of cutting a $300.00 part?? The pilot bearing needed replaced as well but I guess you couldn't cut that from the back of the motor. Wouldn't it have been a good idea to bench bleed the replacement slave cylinder as well. Going by the dumpster fire you call a shop to work in says a lot about ones work ethics and professionalism. I found your video very amusing and recommend it to anyone for how NOT to do this very simple 8 hour job.
