for anyone wanting to install an amp, a good tip for buying the amp wiring is to buy arc welding wire. The "audio" wiring is overpriced and not full copper in some cases, but the arc welding cable is full copper and a lot cheaper. Harbor freight had arc welding terminals you could use to terminate the ends.

At least he does not plan on competing in car audio shows with that system. I have a sony head unit and it sucks balls, i also made the mistake of going with kicker a while back too. But for the car build i like it a lot. I respect you a lot because unlike chris you don't hide your face.

if you ever decide the double din is too much and tired of the amp behind your seat there is a great sony unit with built in amp just like the kicker sub. I run this setup in my mk3 supra. The 1 din deck powers my upgraded speakers and the kicker sub has its built in amp. just an idea for space saving.

I like everything you did minus the amp location. If it were me I would have located it right under the passenger seat so you wouldn't have to give up that back seat.
@saabkyle047 жыл бұрын
Karnage543 It wouldn't fit, tried several ways. If you put an amp under the seat, the seat will crush it when someone gets in, let along scratch it bad if you slide it back and forth. The back seat is useless so it was an adequate sacrifice in this case.

Why do you use regular pliers to crimp all your connections when you have the proper crimpers already as part of your wire stippers? All you do is make a connection more likely to fail...
