Hi Josh, a little installer trick for those that don't have a bamboo pole is to use a wire coat hanger. I have a variety of lengths with my tools. They work really well. Be Well and God Bless ✝

Looks good I actually went with the scupper hole transducer mount from Navarre kayaks and it keeps the transducer out of the way

There is an adaptor that comes with the kayak with small holes for the wires to go through. Just swap out the 3 screw covers

Always enjoyable to watch. I'm not sure how to say this, you may have done this incorrect, but perhaps you had a reason to. Why didn't you use the foam inserts to seal around the wires to make the install water proof and also use the additional wire caps provided in the tackle tray that are made to fit around the wires instead of pinching the wires?

Hey JC, you are correct but I misplaced my other caps. the foam inserts can't be used with this wire because it's very thick. I water tested it, no water gets in anywhere and she works so I am rolling with it lol.

Do they make a shorter one to change it out. I have a Lowrance with side scan and the transducer is long.

Those little squares in between the screws on that triangle are meant to be broke off for each wire you are running. That way when you screw the plate down , you do not pinch the hell out of the wires.

Actually that not correct either. The boat comes with new triangle covers with the notches already in them . They are in the clear tackle box that comes with the boat.
