Hi I bit off topic might be just me but when due a new chain a sprocket I was think off dropping one tooth off the from to lower gearing . I find 6th to high and often need thing in between 3rd-2nd on corners . KTM say the speedo works off the front wheel so shouldn’t effect the speedo .

I see you put the charger wires back on when you fitted the new battery. Do you now need a special charger??? 🤔

Hi. Yes a regular lead acid charger won’t work. You need one that’s for lithium batteries. Luckily the one I have charges both.

Is your bike out of warranty mate? If not call KTM to make sure its fine as most manufacturers don't like any change from OEM its in the T&C's under warranty.

Hi. The battery has been very reliable. It’s been on the bike 7 months now. So far so good. It has a higher cranking rate than the standard battery so as well as being lighter it’s more powerful.

@rchokelal lol. I hear ya’ I don’t mind going out in the winter if it’s dry. But for sure not snow. I got caught out many years ago on my Bandit 1200 in the snow. Now that was a long butt clenching ride 🤣
