I really like her , but the 5 pot got my soul man . Yeah she was stock and pre certified , 2020 model . Pops like crazy . Perfect daily tbh . Pro tip, pull the plastic off AFTER install so there are no fingerprints or smudges are scratches. Looks great! Love the car.

I just ordered the rear diffuser for my 2024 RS3. I noticed the bottom tabs on the ECS diffuser doesn’t have plastic retaining clips like oem. It’s only at the top. Any issues with it staying put for you? How does the bottom of the diffuser stay in place if it doesn’t click?

It stays in place very well. The top tabs are more than enough to hold it in. Stock one is way overkill having so many clicking tabs

I've been careful and have not. But with the car lowered it's defiantly a pretty low setup. So you'll have to angle on steep roads and things like that. You could defiantly scrape or crack it if you hit something

It was a big chunk of foam that came in a package when I ordered a new brake line for the Lambo. Million times more comfortable then laying on concrete! So I've just kept it for these uses

It’s 10pm here and I’m fighting with those damn diffuser bottom tabs!! Gave up for now and will get plastic prybars tomorrow. Any tips? What tab did you first pry?

I started with the outer ones using the thick flat heard screwdrivers like I showed in the video. One by one pop them out. You might have to bend some things but I got it without breaking anything. Take your time

@@BrosFOURRSpeed it’s done! No clips broke. I got the ecs installed. I think it’s secured but hard to tell. Tiny panel gaps and a bit squeaky when pushed around. You have same fitment issue and squeak? Seems fine. Also! Had no idea about the kick sensors on the stock diffuser I had to remove and reinstall. You must not have kick to open on your trunk? Was a pain to reinstall for me but glad it’s all working as expected

@@Ercnet1 my right upper corner was a bit tight. Got it within a few millimeters of being perfect. Can’t notice it. You’ll hear the squeak since it’s just plastic. Is your car US? Mine doesn’t have a sensor and I didn’t think any did

Front lip spoiler and rear diffuser look great on the install video. HOW have they held up? How is their quality? And have you scraped bottom on the front since you also have lowering springs? Strongly considering doing the same thing on mine. Thank you.

Rear diffuser you won't have any issues with. We haven't scraped on anything since we are used to angling out of high inclines. But just be cautious to not drive the front into anything just in case. These aren't anything fancy. But the carbon fiber ones would probably also get damaged if you hit something.

Understood. Thank you for the quick reply. Is there a more durable front lip spoiler out there for the 8Y RS3? Also, Your cars are beautiful and solid work with tasteful mods. I have a 2024 Kemora Gray Metallic 8Y RS3. I'm going to be installing Racing Line lowering springs, as well as front and rear sway bar end links. And I've got ceramic tint and ppf on the car.

Thanks. Will definitely check out your website. I've also got Unitronic midpies to delete the secondary cats, and also have AWE exhaust. Originally did Track edition, which was great but too much in-cabin drone from 1500-4500 rpm. So I put on the Track-to-Switchpath conversion and it sounds awesome just without the drone:)

How was the fit on the rear diffuser? I bought the carbon fiber option and the rear has a small gap on the upper right side. Idk if I got a warped piece or their mold just sucks.

The upper right on mine was pretty tight too. I think you probably need someone on each side pressing it in at the exact same time to get in perfect. If you get one corner in first, its seems hard to get the other side all the way in. Mine is just a few mm off. You cant tell unless you put your head right too it

I was actually considering doing black PPF wrap on that OEM lip, and then adding the splitter. Maybe in carbon fiber since I have the carbon fiber package. A friend of mine who also has a glacier White RS3 did the gloss black wrap on the OEM lip and it looks sick.

@@BrosFOURRSpeed removing the clips that hold the diffuser in is not as easy as you made it, bought pry tools and used flat head no luck I even took it to a shop they had it on a lift and still couldn’t figure it out. But no worries I took it to a body shop today who said they are going to remove the entire rear bumper to get it off 🤦🏻

@@anthonylaspisa5829 Yeah it wasn’t that hard. Just one by one pop them out. Then with the bottoms knew out. Quickly pull the diffuser off from the side and it popped off. Wasn’t crazy easy but wasn’t that hard. Hopefully they get it

Really looks crap. Don't get why people do this to their cars and I couldn't drive it anywhere I live with that, it would get smashed to bits on UK roads. My RS3 8Y (sportback) is the daily, does the school run, shopping, etc. Got a 718 GT4 for play, best way to go with a small family, get sportscar and a hatch.
