you have a key to turn the battery off. i would double check that seeing it is a connection designed to be readily go in and out. could be the connection isn't perfect and causing starter to not get the appropriate power

I'm curious why you'd go with this wheel over one that retains the factory airbag and wheel controls. Not hating just wondering! Love the door pulls I bought from you

Styling, feel, etc. Aftermarket steering wheels are for sure for people who just really want to do it for the modification itself I'd guess. There are benefits to them outside of not having an airbag but for a daily, I wouldn't change it.

@ColoredinLight I personally really want one of the carbon steering wheels that use the factory airbag and steering wheel controls. I got them to work with my atoto head unit and I don't have harnesses or aftermarket seats so stock seat belts and airbags are for me for now at least haha. It's not a track car and doesn't see any track time. Not my daily though! 2.5 swapped stage 1 cams. Full headerback exhaust. Really want to turbo it soon. It's almost paid off too! About 1k left.

Would a steering wheel like yours work from an oem paddle shifter steering wheel to an aftermarket one??

Doubtful without some sort of wiring and bracket for the paddles

Its that damn negative cable to the battery. I just give the connection a little shimmy and it turns on. wasted money thinking it was my starter

Bingo, I took it all apart and cleaned all the negative contact points and haven't had any issues since.

Doesn’t seem worth removing the airbag in a street car when you have wheel options that retain it.
