Take the eye bolt off and two deck covers to remove. Put eye bolt on very loosely and push tensioner up with your hand while sliding belt onto tensioner pulley. Retighten eye bolt to specs so your spring is the required length/tension.

Quality, education and relationship building are the keys to keeping it small but very profitable. Bigger is not all it seems. Trust me on that! But a couple 2 person crews is very manageable with the right people. Anything over that and it becomes all about the numbers and what I call babysitting employees.

Yup and less stressful. Also having employees and cost to your equipment because most aren’t as careful because it isn’t theirs. Thanks for watching!

Hi both, another great video. You should speak to Pete of GCI Turf with regards to irrigation, be it for your landscape clients or your farm. I am sure that he is in your area, but I could be wrong. Lots log love to you both and your children from the UK. 😀💜🏴🇬🇧

He is in NC but almost 3 hrs away. He lives in the Piedmont area and we are in the mountains. A lot of people don’t realize from the Tennessee state line to the outer banks of Nc it’s almost 9 hrs of drive time. Thanks for watching!

@@happysfamilywncI am sorry I did not realise how far away he is from you. The USA is so much bigger than the UK. It is my pleasure I love your videos, and your enthusiasm for the outdoors. I hope you and your family all have a great day today, Monday 9th August

I used to do irrigation for my dad for years but I don’t mess with it much anymore but I’ve been slowly installing it here at my house. Lighting is a lot of fun! It’s not complicated especially with LED’s now and you can get really creative with up lighting, down lighting, shadows, etc.
@happysfamilywnc3 жыл бұрын
We should learn because we are going to need it when we build our raised bed farm in the future because watering take a lot of time when you are doing it by hand. Lighting would be cool but it’s another thing on our plate that I’m not sure I want to put the time into now maybe later. Thanks for watching!

@@happysfamilywnc It’s not hard to learn. Especially drip which is what you’ll want in a garden. Hunter irrigation supplies has an online course. I think Ewing and Rainbird do as well.

Blob😆. One reason you have good clients is because Rachel is kind to them, plus your Quality of work. I’ve been wondering if you have gotten the vaccine and with Kayla going to college did she? My granddaughter’s first week (1st grade) of school has started with a child testing positive so no class for the next two weeks.
@happysfamilywnc3 жыл бұрын
Yes we are vaccinated and actually decided to keep the 3 home again this year because Chase can’t be vaccinated. I don’t think Kayla wants to hear this but unfortunately I think they will be sending everyone home again this winter and before she comes back into the house, we’ll have her tested to be sure. Be safe and stay healthy!

"Twooo niiice Chevy truuucks..." 🤣 Yeah, brother, changing deck belts is pretty easy -- especially with a breaker bar or ratchet to move the tensioner, which is the last pulley the belt goes around. Don't you have a belt routing sticker on the deck? Or did it rub off? If I didn't have ro mow today, I would try to get my old Ferris 48 running after....3 years....actually I might need it because my Exmark walkbehind needs a new gasket and I'm not sure how to crack the block in half myself....
@happysfamilywnc3 жыл бұрын
Yeah once I figured out the pattern it was easy and I thought I would need a breaker bar but Rachel was able to just push the tension pulley forward and slipped it on over the on the engine pulley. Hopefully it’s a easy fix and cracking the block I wouldn’t even know where to start plugs belts and blades and filters is all I do. Maybe when I have a more spacious shop I’ll try getting into tearing things down and fixing them but for now I leave it to the experts. Thanks for watching!
@Pure_KodiakWILD_Power3 жыл бұрын
@@happysfamilywnc Wow, she pushed a belt tensioner with her hands?? She's a warrior 😂 I used to do that, until I realized what that square in the tensioner arm is for 🤣 And yeah, the bolts are easy, but I dunno if there are internals I need to keep from falling apart, and I'd probably have to drain the oil....so yeah, I'll probably leave this one to the experts, but I'm gonna see if I can find a coupla KZbin videos to see how it's done just for my information..... but I was out mowing all day after church, and I need to find some dinner and watermelon first.
