the fact that it’s only taped is good, when you fall on a bike having a big spoiler on the back of your head could make your neck break way easier then without, it’s actually just safer for the driver if it’s taped, and if it’s taped there is no mechanism that can fail, you just need to buy 3m which is not that much of a big deal

I'm thinking of getting this helmet , but on another channel, a reviewer has already said a part of the lining is failing,,.and if I'm paying hundreds of pounds I'm not relying on 3m tape with clips to keep the spoiler on,, regardless of whether alpinestars think its a great design or not,, I'll hold tight to see if they update the lid.

@Victor_Moto good to hear , it was on a fortnite review with Ryan...I also spoke to a sales person who said he's had a customer have problems with the wind noise being excessive with the vents above the eyeline.,, which I guess makes sence as the helmet has alot of vents.

The solid white and solid black do not come with it. We have a few spares. They're only $28.

Helmet rubs on ears, made in china. The price point really destroys what it is, which is a high feature medium quality helmet at the full premium cost of a made in Italy alternative. Bold move from alpinestars for a Chinese helmet. Anyone who recommends this is being paid there can be no doubts
