It plugs into a power inverter that's hooked up to the truck's batteries.

What about the Water from the rear?

These little refrigerators don't drain water anywhere. There's no connection. I've had it over a year now and there's no water coming out. Was the same with the previous one. They're made to put wherever you want, like an office or a garage or a truck. I make sure not to get it too cold or fill it up too tight. Both those things can cause frost to build up. I also rarely use it, so it never has a chance to buildup frost. If I was otr and in the truck all the time, it would be a different story.
