I did pretty much the same thing. One thing that I did differently that could save you a little money is to put the taller panels higher and not buy the small panels. I did it this way, but it was purely dumb luck that I happened upon that.

Yeah, but my OCD wouldn't allow that!

This is almost the exact same as what comes in the Winchester Evolution series safes.

Good info thanks!

Did you have to cut the anchors and screws they look pretty long compared to how thick the dry seems on the inside of my safe.

So how are you going to place panels on the side walls if the butt plates take up the floor space?

So you have the attached screws going through the back of the safe?
@ZackCarlson4 жыл бұрын
The safe is lined with drywall and I used screws into drywall anchors. Nothing sticks all the way through the metal of the safe.

Theoretically, could I use just the rifle stock bases that go on the ground to have the rifle leaned against the side of my safe be more stable? Basically, if I wanted to be cheap could I go without the cradles for the barrel? Thanks

I don't think so, but you can try before buying the rest.

Did you try with stock base only?

What kind/size of safe did you install it in?
@ZackCarlson4 жыл бұрын
This is an iron man safe out of Idaho. The interior of most safes are drywall so the install should be similar.
