Haha yep. Idol speed is now 1.7 mph (was 3.5) Top speed and launch doesn't seem to be affected. Boat gets on plane faster.

So how about going in reverse? Is there a way to lock it up and still have reverse functionality?

Reverse works as normal with the trolling plate in down position.

How did this work for you? Pretty good? I've heard that the trolling plate negatively effects handling.
