Installing a Vevor Awning on My 2019 Hyundai Tucson - Easy & Affordable!

In this video, I’ll be showing you why I chose to buy a cheap awning from Vevor instead of going the DIY route. While DIY awnings can be fun and customizable, they take too much time to set up and add more stuff to carry in the car when traveling.
The installation process of the Vevor awning on my 2019 Hyundai Tucson was fairly easy. The most challenging part was drilling the L bracket to the crossbars, but once that was done, everything else was straightforward. Now, I can enjoy some shade during my adventures without the hassle.

I have a 2024 Subaru Forester Wilderness and recently bought the Rino crossbars. I wonder if there is a way to clamp the awning mounting bars on instead of drilling holes? Also, I'm mounting an Inspired Overland roof top tent. So it may get a bit interesting to do that.

Yes there is a way of using clamps to secure the L brackets to the crossbars. You'll need more nuts and bolts though. I did not go that route because I feel it is more secure to drill and mount to the crossbars itself. Good luck!
