I enjoyed your demo.Your approach was straight forward and clean, it makes me want to tackle the same project at home that I have pending for a while.

Great video and sanity restorer!!! My kit came with the 'non-quick connect' system. In my case, the chrome nut (that attaches to the faucet shank) came with a metal olive that the instructions told me to place 'on top of the retaining nut'. Assembling the white tube with the retaining nut, nylon olive, chrome nut AND the metal olive (per the instructions), there was no way that the chrome nut would engage with the faucet shank. At 1-30am, this nearly drove me insane! However, watching your video this morning showed the installation without the metal olive and - tada!! - a working filter system and sanity restored! Many thanks.

Thank you so much for this. Concise, yet clearly explained, gave us a lot of options for different under sink set ups, shows everything we need to see, steps are shown in order, and the presenter is great. Ten out of ten. Just going to install my filter now, and I feel much more confident.

Thank you for this! My kit came with very little help for the faucet portion and this helped a lot!

Thanks for this video! I was nervous to install my under-counter filter and was trying to decide the best place to mount it. I was also unsure about the hoses since they didn't have a tightening nut. I love the idea of NOT mounting it so I can pull it out to change the filters easier and never would've thought that would be ok if you hadn't suggested it. Thank you!

Thanks for this. You're good at explaining. I have a 10" filter with a 10" housing, but the filter became moldy because I couldn't screw it shut, it didn't go all the way down to the buttom(rounded off housing at the buttom, two different manufacturors. How is the water supposed to flow when the filter is inside the housing?

Great video, sir. Do you know if that water filtering system will filter out flouride from the water?

I measured the water supply line (pipe that goes through the sink) as being only 8mm across. You mentioned drilling a 13mm hole, but wouldn't a 10mm hole suffice? Also, I'm drilling through granite which requires a diamond drill bit, a hollow one that cuts a circle (technically a cylinder) out of the bench.

@MrSidchrome No not from Aldi just one of our standard twins. If buying from Aldi make sure it has a PLV if it doesn't don't buy it.

I basically have the same set-up as explained in this video but with only one filter housing instead of two. Anyway, I changed our water filter cartridge just last week and the problem I have now is the water flow is weak from the water filter tap only (the pressure in the mixer in the sink is OK). Can a change in filter cartridge drop the water pressure?

I have the same system, even brand. My tap has now developed a drip after a few years use. I can't see any way to get into the tap to look for a washer. Does the washer (if worn) in the undersink T-piece (mentioned in this video) dictate whether or not the tap above drips? That looks easy enough to replace. I live in fear that the whole tapware may need to be replaced because internal washers are not meant to be changed! Luck of the Irish! Cheers Alan

instead of using a pressure limiting valve, couldn't you just not fully open the tap going to the filter? the cheap ones are like $50
