Installing ARP Head Studs On A Polaris RZR Turbo!!

Today we head to the garage to install ARP Head Studs purchased from Evolution Powersports! We do a step by step instructional and explain how to get the timing reset. First part of this video is doing a big fuel pump and big injectors in preperation for a big turbo install and the next step will be showing the actual turbo install and demonstrating the gains in power.

On the intake when installing cams looks like one of the valves is slightly under pressure is that where are use the wrench to get it lined up pushed on the valves to put the holding bracket on?

I have been testing with a draggy I have 2020 RZR pro do Evo stage 3 I did 5.71 in 4 wheel no tubes or clutch work yet

Are the Cam sprocket bolts the only ones that got blue loctite and what torque specs on them

You can blue Loctite cam gear and Cam mounting brackets I don’t remember torque specs you’ll have to look it up on Google. Thanks for watching

Nice video, I will be doing this myself this winter, Ive watched several videos of this how to and you guys are the only ones who have removed the sprocket from the cam on removal. Is there a reason too or just something that is done with your routine?

Not sure it's nessessary but we wanted to make sure to locktite the bolts and it's a little easier to get the one cog gear out of the way. Thanks for watching!!

@@utvoutlaws6652 So i did the studs this weekend and by doing it the factory suggested way like you guys did in the video taking the gear off the intake cam is almost required due to the fact of the pressure on the lobes closest to the gear which your video suggests. I had to go back through it to catch it but it does mention that and I give you guys a lot of credit for that! Another big video cuts at that point and completely skips this all going back together. I saw another video of a guy walking the cam back into place but he had the side cover completely off so he was able to put a socket on that side and rotated the motor counter clockwise until it laid down flat, engine was out and most of us don't have this option available. THANKS AGAIN FOR THE DETAILS ON THIS. WAS SUPER NERVOUS OF GETTING IT ALL BACK TOEGTHER WITHOUT MESSING SOMETHING UP.

Who did you order these from. Wondering who's instructions those are. I've seen different torque numbers thru different vendors. Some say 80ftlbs and others say 85ftlbs. Which is it? Or does it really matter?

LOL that was originally probably Evo. But I do it a little bit different now for big boost built motor. I do 85 ftlbs let it sit 10 minutes back each one individually off 180° then re-torque to 85
