Hello, once again, we installed another Auto Mafia tune. Today, we check out the Ghost Cam tune. This tune sounds so good. It gives me that old hot rod kind of sound I think a lot of us like! This thing chops so lovely!

The borla attak cat back comes with a resonator of its own. It’s so much lighter than the stock one. No X pipe or H pipe. I was thinking of doing a X pipe into the borla axles but instead got the full borla attak cat back set up

I suggest an h pipe, long tubes, a quality resonator, and a medium volume muffler.. Catless of course

I bought it from American muscle. “SpeedForm GT350R Style Rear Spoiler; Carbon Fiber” was what it was listed under. It looks like they no longer sell it though

So I bought the tommy gun and ghost cam but in the email they’re in the same download so it says tommy gun and ghost cam tune but it’s only the tommy gun when I install it, anyone know why or if I’m doing something wrong? Thanks

Yeah I can do so, just to let you know ahead of time before I do so, it’s pretty much the tommy gun tune but instead of popping banging at every and any RPM I have to be at 3500 RPM and above for it to activate.

Technically yes, but to be 100% transparent with you and everyone. Before I even bought a tune with them, I emailed them and asked them if I bought the tommy gun tune if I thought it was to much if they could give me there popcorn tune which they said yes. So when I order my tune I bought the tommy gun tune. Keep in mind I released that video 2 weeks after it was actually recorded. I wanted to test that tune out and also see what they would give me for a tone down tune. Directly after I made that video I emailed them and asked them if I could get there popcorn tune which they said of course. ( keep in mind at the time they had no clue I was even going to make any video or do anything else besides just installing it in my car) When I installed there popcorn tune I personally felt that I couldn’t hear any pops or bangs. The S550 has great insulation and noise dampening. My girlfriend told me when I would drive away that there popcorn tune would pop and bang but from my point of view it wasn’t what I wanted. After hearing the tommy gun tune I want that kind of pop and bang but be able to predict or manage when it poped. All I asked auto mafia was to “give me a fraction of what the tommy gun tune is”. That is when they gave me the tune I daily run now, which is the car pops at redline to 3500 RPM. From my point of view they seem to be a company that really will work with you.

When you placed your order for the tune did you do the ghost cam tune addition? If so the will email you to get all your cars info and stuff. After you send them all the info they will take a day or two to reach back out and give you that tune.

Any stalling issues? Would raising idle rpm fix it?

You actually get stalling issue when you raise the RPM. I wouldn’t mess with it to much tbh.

When I left the setting they had it at no stalling issues. When I raised the rpm one setting up no stalling issues. When I went one more setting higher I did get some stalling.

Not exactly, so you need the device and a tune to be able to do it. However that combination it will.

The first time that you get may not work. It took me about three revisions to get it to work well. Suppose you send them a message, and they take up to 72 hours to reply. I would just be patient.

Uh not sure what you mean by Charles header? My headers are from bbk. Also no header should throw a check engine light, as long as you still have stock cats.

@@calebrowdy2230 well your headers aren’t part of the pipe that holds the cats. You can go catless and still have the stock Manifold. But you will want to go catless if you want to tune the tune long term. The ghost cam and tommy gun tune use a lot of gas in a way that could damage your cats if ran a long period of time.

Hello, I actually do not daily this tune, I daily the tommy gun tune. I personally do not recommend dailying this tune if you drive a automatic. If you drive a automatic when you come to a complete stop the car likes to jerk, ALOT. You can stop this by putting the car in neutral, which of course lends its self more to a manual car. If you don’t mind putting the car into neutral at a red light in a automatic then sure I guess you could daily it. The only issue is the jerky ness of it.

@@LunoSZNYeah, that will help you not jerk so often. I always drive in sports mode, so it's a little more of an issue trying to go to neutral but it's for sure doable.

That would be interesting. I honestly don’t think it would sound good on a ecoboost. The same principle of it having only 4 cylinders and because of that the sounds still applys. If you do a quick KZbin search you can check out how a ghost cam sounds on a 5.0 v8 and they sound deeper and a little better then on mine which is a 3.7 v6

Yea, you’re absolutely right. However, for the first two years of ownership, while I was a full-time college student and had a part-time job, I paid for all my expenses. A v8, which wasn’t too much more than a month. At the age of 19, while paying for everything myself, including insurance. Insurance was no less than $400 a month. So, while it’s always easier to say that, consider people's circumstances.
