Installing Backup Camera & mirror on Acura TSX

Installing a backup camera with rearview mirror on a non tech Acura TSX.
Steps to install backup camera and rearview mirror:
Need to remove trunk liner,
find the power wire for reverse light (colored with stripes)
Connect 1 or 2 red wires to power wire, ground the wire in the trunk.
Run the wire from back to front
connect the yellow cable jacks, red wires and ground the black wire.
Connect camera adapter.
mount the rearview mirror.

I'm thinking of adding this to my TSX and was quoted a somewhat high price for installation and labor. Seeing your video, I think the price might be worth it. That's a lot of work. Video was helpful.

@Vanessa T - it's not hard at all.. parts can be sourced for under $75 easily and maybe 45-60 minutes of labor, longest part is putting on the camera and attaching the reverse light and ground and then just have to fish the wire.

@dank knowledge - thank you I appreciate the kind words. Personally I’m not fan on wireless bc of stability but I’m sure they are good. Amazon does have some good wired cameras that I’m even thinking about swapping mine out with and under $30.

@Curtis Gorshe - sorry for late reply, for rear view mirror you can get any, ensure the bracket works in your vehicle and don't get wireless ones, for camera use natika off Amazon, that's the one I have now and love the quality of it.

@Curtis Gorshe - looked very similar but don't trust the images for the camera on the listing, the original camera I got was garbage. You can try this but just keep in mind if image isn't good use the other camera I switched too.

@EIBabyBoySalinas - you can replace it with another rear view mirror, just have to ensure the plugs are plug&play.
