Thanks for the video! I have a 2006 TL with Navigation that I want to add a backup camera to it. Yet, I am going to leave it to professional.

I have an 06 TSX, watched this video. I ordered everything that was used in the video, followed along and was able to wire everything up myself. Works perfectly! Only issues I had was getting the gasket flat enough so that I could get the little lip to attach to the sheet metal, and when tapping into the reverse light, my factory wire snapped. I just soldered the wires back and it is fine. I am not mechanically inclined so @kellydragna7632, you can do the job yourself. If I can do it, ANYONE can do it! 😁Save yourself some money and do it yourself! 👍🏼

@240ortiz, what screw did you end up using to secure the left side of your license plate? I am not finding anything that I can use to secure my plate. I just tightened up the right side as much as possible but the left side still falls down a little bit.

@@GregMack07 I tried that as well. I actually drilled two more holes and put in some riv nuts. I think plates need top and bottom screws anyways so it worked out

Thanks for the video. Did you find a solution for the license plate bolt that was interfering with the camera?

I ended up not using that hole and drilled the bottom two holes in the trunk, added a rivnut and it's great

I want to try this on a 2005 Accord Hybrid with Navigation, but I’ve seen online that the 2005 model doesn’t have that port

Great video, could you list the part no. of the green 7 pin connector. The one that connects to the back of the navigation unit? I tried the link, but it has expired and eBay can't find it.

I went back and looked and could not find a part number but if you go to Ebay and type in "Green 7 Pin Connector Honda" it will pop up with a few of them. 6spd_ek sells them

I didnt like the position/angle of the plastic camera mount. Just used a licence plate mount that centered the camera. Better all the way around.

The 04-05 TSX NAVI DVD drive doesn’t have this 7 pin connector slot. Any ideas on getting it to work on these. I have an 05 and would really like to retain the OEM NAVI/radio and have a backup camera.

As far as I know it's not a simple plug and play like I've shown. I do think there is an additional box someone sells to make it work but it might not be available any longer.
