[19:50] I would suggest putting something on the outside of the gates (a stop plate of some sort) to prevent someone from opening them outward and buggering up your hinge. All it would take is a kid (or someone who had a bit to much to drink) forgetting and pushing outward and your gate will be screwed up.
@k.beeler42403 жыл бұрын
It's your build, you can do it any way you want. If it was mine, I would've left a center gate in front. It will be easier to access the front for docking and loading after a few adult beverages. LOL! You built double steps on the front of your trailer for accessing the front of the boat.... Maybe I missed something. The new style fencing and seating will look great!
@blackhat49683 жыл бұрын
I was wondering the same thing. I know the fence is not high, maybe they are supposed to just step over it in the front and step on to the seats, But I guess normally you wont be loading or unloading people while the boat is on the trailer.

This is a great build. I agree there should be a front gate opening with curved seats on the sides, but we all see things differently. The only thing that detracts is the surface finish of the two outboard pontoons. I would see that everytime I walk up to it. I dont know what I would do to remedy it though. the ladders are mounted to the trailer. If you need to get into the boat while it's on the trailer you can probably just step over the fence.

What you have called "trim" or "railing" is actually the "rub rail" according to pontoon nomenclature found in references and catalogs. I had a heck of a time finding it to order until found the "proper" name for it! Also, the rubber part in some of them is called "rub rail insert."
