Installing CarPlay on Q50s

I installed a Tesla-style Android screen in my Cruze and ran a USB extension cord through the armrest console. Then I used a wireless CarPlay adapter by carlinkit ,plugged it into the USB extension, and placed it in the armrest compartment. It works pretty well even connected my back up camera to it as well. You might want to consider going that route, unless you're dead set on keeping the interior stock look. I think a Tesla screen would look clean in the Q50 one that sits flush in the center console not the pop out screen
