That is crazy to put all those screws in then take them all out again!!! You can just place the rubber boot on and draw your line- lift it and apply your silicone then screw it down! Now it will be nice and tight-

That many screws indicates a design flaw, needs stiffer aluminum, or he's an ex air-frame riveter.🤔🙂

You dont even show how to install the clips, which is the whole idea of the thing, so you dont have to alide it iver the top, useless 🤷‍♂️
