Looking real good. I love the way that little black gasket looks to fill the seams between panels. My wife's Camry had that from the factory and when I repainted her front bumper and lip I think I painted over it cause I didn't know if I could replace just that part. Didn't look near as clean.

The piece of lower you cut off, is not useless, its just poorly molded. If you heat and massage lower, you can get that second metal L bracket to align with where its supposed to go on underside of car, and you can drill it and screw in place like you did with the outer one. I bought painted ones from eBay, Silverstone. Pretty decent color match. Saved that hassle. Only uppers were painted, which is how stock ones come.

looking at the ebay link for the lip it only shows 2 L brackets but in your video it looks like you have more than that. Does the lip come with more than 2?

When I ordered it, it did. Sometimes the hardware changes over time, but it may still come with them.

Ordered the front lip trim and it arrived and looks like a twisted piece of black licorice. Figured I heat with a heat gun slowly and untwist. Any suggestions appreciated.

Did the front lip come with the brackets in the video to connect the lip to the factory bolts under the front bumper? Other than the holes you drilled at the ends did you need to make any other modifications to the car?

No modifications to the bumper, and yes, the lip I ordered came with the brackets, but I had to rivet/bolt them to the lip. This was done before I recorded the video. I taped on the lip with masking tape and got everything lined up prior to painting. There was some very minor trimming on the lip where it wraps around the bumper.

It was shipped straight. I believe the old ones required rivets, but the new ones come with tiny nuts and bolts for the brackets.

What year are those y49 front/rear bumper. If it's 88 89, are you willing to sell it? The black molding looks thicker so I'm guessing it's the right year.

This is an older video and these wheels were sold a while back. They were ASA, which is a subsidiary of BBS, I believe.

You don’t need it, but I wanted to make it as close to OEM style as possible.

For now, the stock AP1 wheels. Longer term, I do not know. I’d love to find some affordable Mugen MF10, but I doubt I’ll be able to.
