Man my wife would never let me do this stuff lol Get an oscillating multi tool. Works great for drywall cuts. Great work with the fish tape. The care and attention to detail will be much appreciated if you decide to do this professionally.

Thank you sir I appreciate your comment. Yeah the oscillating size are awesome I do have one and would have been good to use but it pisses the dog off even extra than his usual anger so I try and avoid it if it's something small I can just do by hand.

I watch all of your alarm test videos, and to be honest, you could probably hear both alarms from wherever you are because they are so loud. But this is still so freaking cool and i have always wished i had some sort of notification system in my house, but my parents dont trust me enough ☹️

Do you think a Dual Strobe Expander Plate could work at least as another notification accessory in the house too? But yeah I'd have to say the woop is my favorite tone by far. Great job with this project. It's really turned out extremely nice.

They are meant to be paired with a speaker strobe that can do different tones if it was just paired with a low frequency sounder it would only be a remote strobe

I forgot the combo's do not come with a built in speaker (horn nor speaker) and if you were to install it under your fire notification applice (the L series classic LF Hs) , it would act as a remote strobe when the garage goes into alarm. Thus, since you wanted to hear when the garage goes off, you have a separate device (the chime strobe) to act as that notification in supervisory?

I have a est genesis chime. Which is set a partially loud volume. I put a piece of tape over the chime grille because I can't really adjust the chime volume.

Nice job, looks great! And out of curiosity, is the panel giving the CHSWL a sync signal? I doubt both systems will realistically be in alarm at the same time, but it can’t really hurt anything for it to be synchronized

It's not hard if you install a system in an aesthetically acceptable manner with low profile devices, it was recognized that the old smoke alarms weren't doing the job so something had to be done

I honestly want a commercial fire alarm system in our house because our smoke alarms are less then 10 years old but are not working even with batteries But my family cant put one up because 1. too hard 2. Too expensive and 3. Our walls are to thin and the screws might go through them, And also our sprinkler system has a flow switch connected to nothing so we would never know
