Laurel Mountain Mustangs is one of the best retailers I've ever dealt with, of course along with a few others. Very friendly staff.

Where did you get the spring compressor? I rent mine from O'reilly's but its not exactly the right kind. Works from top of shock tower so you gotta get the coil positioned just right on the perch which is pain

They are pretty common, Autozone I believe. Yes that top down set up doesn't work all that week.

What do you think of the FLAMING RIVER POWER STEERING CONTROL VALVE AND THE FLAMING RIVER POWER STEERING CYLINDER. for a 69 Mustang? is that what you through on this build?
@MustangConnection110 жыл бұрын
Mike, I actually rebuilt the existing power steering control valve and reused the the slave cylinder as it wasn't leaking and performed fine( video coming on that) I am not familiar with the Flaming River product line all that well so can't really speak to those items.
@kingsfan888810 жыл бұрын
MustangConnection1 what about the Borgeson Power Steering Upgrade Kit? Bypass the PS Control valve and slave cylinder all together?

I am having a 1969 mustang restored....i have given them $20,000 so far and they say it will probably take another $60,000 .... They say a full show quality restoration would cost $100 000 or more but i can't afford that.... It's hard for me to understand $80,000 won't give me a show quality restoration.....really depressing
