Installing Led Steering wheel on F80 M3 (Airbag stuck / Lane Departure, Blind Spot Malfunction)

Brooo that's Freaking Sick I've been Trying for the Longest to Figure Out why I was getting the same Pop Up Message for the "BSM" and it's cause of the Vibrator Generator!! Great Video Man I Appreciate it so Much, Now I finally know what's wrong since the Dealership didn't want to help me! Much Love Down here in Miami. 💯

So what was the issue with the bsm and or vibrating deal? I just swapped wheels and my bsm says malfunction and nothing else was changed

What harness exactly did you splice the 12v power source to again? I saw it on the video but where did it plug into ?

Hello I have same problem with blind spot fault.. its becouse in new steering wheel dont have space where to put that vibration motor.. so my question is? is it possible to somehow code the steering wheel vibration off so i won't get error and active blind spot detection will continue working without vibrating but showing warning light on mirrors?

Damn my airbag is stuck on the right side only. I’m still able to pop the left side out do you think I can squeeze in a hook or screwdriver to un hook the right side? Been going at it for hours

Mine was actually only stuck on one side and it would not come out , the side that worked I ended up messing up from trying so many times. If you can’t get the other side to budge, really the only way I was able to remove it was how I did in the video. If you go that route just make sure that’s your last resort cause your gonna need to buy the rear cover and the steering wheel part that the bag clicks to. The plastic is a pain to cut btw

So what was the fix for the bms error and or vibrating issue?

Once I swapped over the vibration sensor into the aftermarket steering wheel all faults went away

I bought it from a shop that dismantles and parts out totaled bmws , straightsixautoparts on Instagram
