Hey Everyone,
In today's video, we're going to show you how to install the BMW OEM GENUINE RACE DISPLAY WHEEL in our F80 M3. Now, even though this video shows the process for the F80, it's the same for the F20, F22, F30, F32, F80, F82, F87, etc. In today's video, we'll knock out the wiring and in the next video, we'll show you how to fully assemble the wheel, so you can skip to the part you need!

Thanks for the video. Helpful for my install. FYI that wiretap with the lime green wire. Make sure its hella tight and double check it and tighten again. Wheel Led's wouldn't light up and turns out it was that tap loose.

Great Video, only one thing i say is . What about us here in the UK, the FEM module is in the left hand and all the Con3 & Con4 , are in different positions, and it makes wiring one of these steering wheels very difficult indeed. I have looked KZbin and the internet, and no one from the UK , has did a step by step video like yours to show folk how to gain easy access with the wiring, I bought the steering wheel, this just looks much to big a job for me to take on, and most BMW dealerships will not take it on .

Hello I have problem with blind spot fault.. its becouse in new steering wheel dont have space where to put that vibration motor.. so my question is? is it possible to somehow code the steering wheel vibration off so i won't get error and active blind spot detection will continue working without vibrating but showing warning light on mirrors?

Will this M2 steering wheel work on a 2016 340i M Performance? (F30 LCI) I know that they make one for the 340i but the stitching is white. And I need the M color stitching to match my interior. Plus the M2 version looks better! 😉

Alot of items on your side are for the f30 f32 f34. But rarely they are for the f36 aswell. If it isn't described in the title of the product. Does it still fit the f36?

Great way to tell part compatibility is look it up on REALoem. If you look at a specific part listing, it will show all compatible models.. in a lot, but not all, cases most F3X parts will fit on F3X. Obvious exceptions for 2 door, 4 door, hatch, components of course but many are the same.

Was this suddenly on after the installation, or did it come on a while after the installation? Sometimes, you need the SRS system reset.

Hey man, great video! I recently bought a F10 550i with a led wheel already installed. I don't know how they installed it but my leds light up when i start the car (little dance back and forth) and my display also works. I can cycle through my menus but when I pull up my oil temp the values are just -48 Degrees Celsius. My shift lights also dont light up. Do you know why that could be? Did they connect something the wrong way or do i need to code anything? I would really appreciate an answer, been looking for some help for a while now. Thanks :)
