Very nice looking seats. I just bought my 1st boat (1992 Thompson 18' bow rider)... while the boat hull, engine and stern drive are in great shape... the interior needs help. The fold down/ back to back seats are hammered by the sun and will probably need replacing. How big are those seat that you installed? I don't want to buy something that's too large for my boat. Awesome video BTW, at least now I have an idea of what I'm looking at.

What are the mounting screws? How long?
@WhitehouseFarmVet12 күн бұрын
I use exterior screws or stainless steel because of water, but you need to know how much room you have for the length of screws because you don't want to screw through your hull!!! Best bet is to use the old ones as reference and placement because the further out you go the less depth you have at least with a v hull shape! Good luck and thanks for watching!

Hey! So when you scooted the seat over, did you mount the seat using the same holes or did you create new ones? If you created new ones, did you fill the previousholes?
@WhitehouseFarmVet3 ай бұрын
I used different holes only because I was gonna replace the flooring because I have some sift spots, but if new then I would of used the same holes or patched the old ones, thank you for watching!😊

What size is your boat? My seats are not secure. The carpet is over the old holes. I will have to remove the carpet to see where the seats mount. My luck I’ll screw the hull and my boat will sink. Great video.

Hey Lee! My boat is 21 feet definitely remove the carpeting around the mounting points that way you can see if there is any rot!!!! Also take the old mounting hardware and match them up with the same size screws or bolts whichever yours uses! As long as you do this and dont try to mount them closer to the sides of the boat you shouldn't have any issues! Good luck and thank you for watching!👍😊
