Installing new Garage Door and WiFi Opener

Our garage door is about 40 years old, one of the belts snapped and it made a sound that was nearly identical to an explosion, one of the loudest noises I've heard in my life. The belt has been replaced, but sadly it's not matching so it's not entirely even. The other belt will probably have to be replaced too

I had a spring snap once at another garage and it sounded like a bomb as well. After that I always make sure safety cables are going thru the springs.

great video and very nice install. you should fix the release rope and adjust the door arm to look like a J and cut the access

Thanks for the tips, how could I get the door open if power or door fails? Thought about ups but what about mechanical failure

so i’m just saying the release rope should hang down and it should be high off the ground
