Installing Procharger on my Chevy Silverado! Part 1 | Daddy Dave Racing

Hey DDR Family! I told you all on Social Media that I was going to install a Procharger Supercharger on my "new to me" Chevrolet Silverado. So I this would be the perfect opportunity to bring you into my shop and have you follow along on the whole install and updates to the truck. This install will be broken down into 3 total videos. In the first video, I tear down the car and install the supercharger kit step by step. Pro Charger has always been good about listening to customers. I remember the instructions for their early marine kits were a joke. It was a glorified parts list on a sheet of paper 😆. We ended up installing them for customers pretty cheap to keep them happy. Surprisingly ProCharger stepped up and pitched in on the customers bills and made real instructions like they do now. I've since sold the business but in the 35 years my family owned it we never had an aftermarket company back things like they did.

That little 4.8 is going to surprise you when you put some boost to it. With the stroke to rod ratio they respond better then the 5.3 or 6.0. But still a 4.8 lol

Good video and plug for Procharger. I think this kind of set up would be excellent entry level way to do a drag and drive deal. Get in a slow class and have some fun and learn at a reasonable cost with A/C?? Keep up the good work.

Hey dave the belt slip on that bracket gets old real quick. Ask procharger for their stage 2 bracket. Keeps the unit in the same location and a dedicated belt drive system. Its advertised for 07 plus but fits on yours

the mass air flow sensor is in the intercooler line now? until how mutch pressure its safe to have the sensor in a charged pressure pipe and not before the charger in the intake?
