Awesome video! I actually bought/installed a procharger kit on my 08 Tahoe pretty much a year to the date. Same exact bracket and bolts used on my 5.3 LMG. These things love boost and really wakes them up. I'm at over 250k miles on the stock engine and hasn't broken a sweat over this last year being boosted. Only thing is the pulley they send it with is very very conservative... Only makes like 7 psi max with the 4" pulley they send with the kit and got it to make around 10 psi by shifting out at 6500 rpm. 3.6" is much better suited for these engines as the boost comes on more instantaneously and you can make 10 psi at around 6k rpms! I literally just put on a 3.4" this morning from Brute Speed so going to see if I can make 10 psi at the factory shift points

I went with a 3.85” pulley, it’ll be interesting to see what it makes
@kevinmcquitery4543 Жыл бұрын
What power numbers you make?
@joser7555 Жыл бұрын
@Kevin McQuitery hasn't been on a dyno but maxing out 56lb injectors with the 3.4" pulley and shifting at 5600 rpms so should be making mid to upper 500s at the engine. Torque comes on HARD after 2500 rpms compared to the 4" pulley and shifting at 6500 rpms

What do you think about the truck Norris for the 6.2 L 92? It's going in an 8000 pound 4x4 van and I need low-mid range power. Will a bigger cam have less low end loss in a 6.2L vs the 5.3L? Comparing something like a btr stage 3 truck cam to the truck Norris in the 6.2 ? Just wondering if the Norris is too small for the 6.2 .. Or would it give more power throughout the entire curve minus the very top end like it does in the 5.3 and 6 L tests?

Hope that Procharger is the correct rotation. A lot of the Corvettes have counter clockwise rotations due to the way it has to mount.
