Nice video! 11:43 I changed recently the pedals on my bike too, but from what info I found in different videos, usually it's not loctite that's used but grease. From what I understand is that the pedals will naturally turn and tighten when pedaling, therefore grease is used to make sure they'll come off and not stay stuck (due to rust for example) when you need to remove them.

Hi, nice video. A couple of tips: If you want to 1-finger brake, then mount the brake levers further inwards on the bars, so that the tips of your index fingers contact the end of the brake levers. This will give you maximum leverage when applying the brakes. Also, you shouldn't use lock-tight on your pedals. It is recommened to use a bit of grease or anti-seize on the pedal bolts when installing them, otherwise they can be very difficult to remove months later.

This bike is like $228 right now for the black version 🖤 minus the dropper post but it still has the holes drilled out for it.

It’s a great bike and at that price it’s worth it.

Would it be an issue to change the tires to slightly narrower tires? Like a 29x2.3” ?
@DieselLegiance2 жыл бұрын
It’s always possible but some may not recommend. I would assume it’s the same concept of when people put narrower tires on wider rims on their vehicle, or the opposite, putting wider tires on a narrower rim on a vehicle. It’s always possible, but I guess it depends on your writing style. As long as you don’t change the rim or axles and you’re not riding aggressively down the trails I would assume it would be fine but if you ride aggressively, it’s probably not recommended as you’re more likely going to break the seal and cause an air leak.

i need help changing my seat what seat fits great for this bike
@DieselLegiance2 жыл бұрын
There are many seats that fit. Depends on what style, what size, etc. I went with this one as it’s stylish, it’s a mid size for comfort, and not too costly. amzn.to/3MLD6s7

@@DieselLegiance I didn't want to seem persnickety, but I pictured some non-mechanically-inclined person tightening a stem to get it off, and eventually over-torquing it and goodbye bolts. lol
