I seriously thought about making my car electric. It was going to cost about 30k more to go electric and I just couldn’t justify the extra cost. Thanks for watching

Nice build, Im building the same frame for a 4x8. Out of curiosity what made you go with lead screw instead of rack and pinion on a machine that size? I opted for rack and pinion because i was worried about lead screw whip over that length

I am using a 20mm ball screw. I didn’t think a lead screw would work on this size table and I thought the rack and pinion would would be complicated to install correctly. I believe this 20mm ball screw will be strong (stiff) enough not to whip. Time will tell. Thanks for watching
