Personally I think from the back, it’s sounds a little too boxy/muffled, if you know what I mean! Ideally I’d want something a little more raspy and open where you can hear higher pitch 5cyl scream. Loving the new car though! Living my dream 😅

Believe it or not, that “boxy” sound that you hear is the 5 cyl firing order.. it has a misfire kind of sound it’s super weird.. you can always get rid of that with different design down pipes.. it also doesn’t help that the “muffled” part of your description also comes from the factory downpipe that turns into a Y and goes over the driveshaft into the 2 mid pipes.. no matter the exhaust you’ll always have that “boxy” sound😎

@@dannypsi5402 If its anything like the MK7R EA888, I understand! I have one and I love it and I absolute understand the boxy noise. Problem is, this exhaust makes the RS3 sound like the EA888 atleast in the first half of the rev range. But anyway! I got an exhaust shop to create a custom cat-back with an CTS downpipe and it was probably the cleanest sounding golf R in my city. Some Off-the shelve systems have a crazy ton of drone!
