Glad to see the log lift installation, also glad to see it act as a table and a way to manage the big rounds you have

Thanks David! I'm very happy to have the lift installed. It is going to be a big asset as the big rounds keep coming. Keeps me from having to quarter stuff up and also lifting as much as I have been.

That splinter needs to be about 6" higher

I think it's perfect height. I wish my older splitter was higher though.

Log lift is a great addition, may I recommend a catch table also?
@woodnyardjunkieАй бұрын
@billwoehl3051 yes it is! It's been a back saver for sure. Catch table is in the works my friend.

Holy moly man, beast status Achieved! That bad boy can sure handle some big ole rounds now...I hadn't noticed in your previous vids that the horizontal wedge is hydraulically adjustable- that's gotta be a big help with keeping the flow going. I found out a couple of days ago that my neighbor is having a bunch of tree work done professionally, said I could have all of the wood (elm, ash, maple and pine)...not sure what I'm going to do with it all but I'm looking forward to figuring it out. Lol at the end of the vid...poor tripod...:(

Hahaha...yep it's getting there. Still have to add a grate at the end and the 13 hp honda that's just sitting in my shed. This Built-Rite has been awesome so far. Yeah that's the fun part...figuring out a plan and executing it. Then getting more efficient as you get more wood. It's a fun game to play. It's therapeutic for me.

@@woodnyardjunkie Yep, I can relate to plan execution from three decades of concrete construction...the good thing about processing wood is that there wont be anyone else to screw it up, lol. I'm still waiting on an outer dog for my 590 (one for a 620 should bolt right on) but I did fire it up to cut up a little bit of maple, got the carb tuned and oiler adjusted for the 24in bar...can't wait to get after some bigger stuff. Still have a lot of snow in my work area but it should be gone in a week or so if the forecast holds true...probably right about the time I get called back to work, smh. I'm not a big fan of wearing work gloves if I dont have to but it looks like wearing a set of cut and impact resistant gloves might be justified when running your setup...just a thought. Have a good one!

@@ronaldwilkins6056 yep should rip through the big stuff pretty easy. Muddy here but should be solid in a week or 2.

Built rite makes a hell of a good splitter and they are reasonably priced. Im choosing them for my new splitter this year.
@woodnyardjunkie3 жыл бұрын
I agree David. This is a older 11 hpws, but runs like it's new. This thing is solid machine. They also have great customer service. They had forgot a couple fittings for the hoses, so I called them and was taken care of. Got my fittings 2 days later. When you do order one, Dave and Matthew will take care of you!
