That's what happens when people feed them! They lose their fear of people! In their world, the only creatures that give up their food are the ones at the bottom of the pecking order. So the big ones can get really aggressive, and you better have food for them. Never feed wildlife! lol

Since you love fishing the mangroves, why don't you pick up some waders? Then you can at least wade out far enough to cast left or right along the edges!

Funny enough I have a pair! I usually use them but after my recent shark incident I’ve been a little weary about getting in the water 😅 im sure I’ll get over it soon! Besides it seems they were everywhere on this day! Haha I appreciate the tip and comment Will! Tight lines!! 😁🎣

​@JfishyYT Aw, they won't bother you! The rubber from the waders sticks in their teeth too much! They hate it! lol! Seriously, I was wading in Allen's Creek at about 2am fishing for Snook one night! The current is ripping and I was alone! I was feeling pretty erie anyway, but suddenly something bowled me right over! Whatever it was spooked also and took off! When it did it caused a giant boil with an undertow! I realized it was a big female Manatee with a calf! So at first I was relieved! Then I realized my waders had filled with water and between the current and her undertow I was fighting for my life to stand up! If someone had been watching or had a way to record at that time, not only would they have died laughing, but it would have went viral! But, I never had an issue with sharks while wading!
