Their baritone stood behind me and sang in a taking-all-comers youth (and young adult/college) barbershop event in Lexington, Ky a couple years before they won this. I had never met the guy before, and all I could think was, "Holy crap, this guy is phenomenal." Just like you say, he's comfortable well into the tenor range. Sounds like a baritone when he's below the lead, sings like a lead when he needs to, and floats the high notes up there like a tenor. And holy shit is he accurate. Hats off to all these guys. They're wonderful people.

@@bradleymonroe6443 He really sounds like one yeah, and he kind of struggles in the low baritone range, we can see it in _You Gotta Change Parts_ . Same for Kyle, he sounds like a bass would in his low range, but he rarely ever, if at all, goes under F2, which would indicate that he's either a bass-baritone or a baritone, tessitura wise, but not a true bass. Regardless of all this, they're always so good it never ever matters. It just… works.

Great arrangement of the 1920's classic...which became the title song of the movie about Ruth Etting...with Doris Day, James Cagney and Cameron Mitchell. Powerful Song and really good movie!!! It was sung over the years by Billie Holliday, Nina Simone. ..and others.

My favorite thing about this group is their "calm and cool" attitude. It has no pretense or arrogance; just a total relaxation and easy sway. One of my favorite champions in the last twenty years. And...they don't use "moron humor"!
