Here's an easy & quick recipe to make EGGLESS & DAIRY-FREE Mayonnaise at home in less than 10 minutes.
This uses NO OIL, NO MIL, NO EGGS & NO SUGAR at all.
Made with the simplest of ingredients & emphasizing on using plant-based milk , this can be stored in a batch as per your desired quantity with refrigeration. This Mayonnaise is perfect for you if you're lactose-intolerant or want to avoid processed/ store-bought mayo which has copious amount of hydrogenated oil & preservatives.
If stored in an air tight jar in the fridge, one decent batch stays fresh for about 12-14 days.
Way better & healthier than the regular mayo, this is tastier too. Enjoy with your salads, sandwiches or as dips.

Thanks for this no fuss, healthy recipe, I'm excited to try it tomorrow. What is that small device you blended everything in? My Vitamix is too large for this

Hi, Fevkin. I'm excited for you too🙂 In India, we usually have a small blender jar that comes with our mixer. I understand, if you have a large jar, you either need to scale up everything to make a larger batch. Or the best thing you can do is, use a hand blender or any simple blender.

For those people who Say this is not mayonnaise, 1)the term "mayonnaise " isn't coined from the ingredients that makes it but rather from the place /discoverer's name (it's a disputed theory; Wikipedia) 2)if it looks like mayo and tastes like mayo, it can be called mayo There is more than 1 way to make fizzy or sparkling water, doesn't mean they will be called anything different 😬

Can I add mango juice or honey for axtra flavour?
@fitbewellrecipes9869
@fitbewellrecipes9869 3 жыл бұрын
Well, I haven't tried that yet, Roque. But I'd advise you to avoid these. They both have thrir characteristic flavor & consistency which would turn the mayo into something that just won't be mayo anymore🙂

What can I use instead of masala?

@@cameshaanderson9652 hey Camesha, you can use crushed mustard, paprika or any seasoning of your choice. Or if you like it plain, just skip them. Some folks are fond of grinding a leaf or two of mint. Let me know! Sorry for the late response. Hope you're doing good.

This is just cashew paste! How can you call this mayonnaise?
@fitbewellrecipes9869

Hey, Johanna, thanks for dropping by & that insightful thought. Well, that's surely a matter of perspective. Nonetheless, quite interestingly, as an extension of what I mentioned about using cashews as the base for this mayonnaise, it's equally imperative for us to evaluate a recipe from the POV of nutritional gains VS damages (if you're on the lookout for a relatively 'less junk' version of a regular condiment). It's also interesting to figure how cashews are dismissed as 'high fat' but the conventional recipe for mayonnaise, which is, Heaps of oil+Loads of sugar+Dairy milk+ Eggs for the texture+Some vinegar & mustard, is seen as OKAY. For anyone who wants to consume plant-based mayo, generally, Tofu, Soy milk or Cashews are used as the base. In this case, there is little or no use of vegetable oil (which is again, not so healthy, nor is something that can't be done without.) Since cashews are naturally nutty & sweet & creamy, the use of oil, eggs & sugar is totally eliminated, which itself is a way better deal than consuming the oil-laden regular mayo. Through this recipe, I intend to share an 'eggless' & 'vegan' method to make mayonnaise. So, it's definitely not the conventional mayonnaise. However, if you prefer you may improvise this by adding flavors of dill or a few drops of clear vegetable broth too. Also, like I said in the video, nothing justifies over-eating something just because it's 'healthier', I'd want to appreciate how one wants to look at a food. Only from the perspective of the ingredients, or the tradeoff between their replacement with something less unhealthy. Have a great weekend!

It's like peanut butter. It's more realistic to call it a nut spread. Lol

Don't every call this mayonnaise. It's a sauce. Mayonnaise comes from the French word moyeu which means egg yolk. No egg yolk= no moyeu

Which masala can use instead of chat masala?

So sorry for the late reply. Just missed it! You may skip it totally to keep it classic, or add chilli flakes/oregano if you like to impart that flavour. Chat masala or Amchur powder usually render a tangy taste. Hope this helps whenever you try this. Apologies, again!
