6:16 - What was the cop doing? Police never stand on the road to observe drivers in NZ, they always sit in the car with the radar on.
@J0sho4954 жыл бұрын
Normal. I've seen cops do this often. I think it's the fact a person with a speeding gun is less obvious than a reflective police vehicle.

@@hieronymusjohnson9241 still doesn't make it reliable. Everyone I know who's had one, or any European car for that matter has had real problems with them. They're great off the lot, but start to fall apart after 50000k, and cost an arm and a leg to maintain. That doesn't scream reliability. They're just not built to deal with Australia.

He has no license plate, so i'd say running. Unless someone can prove otherwise, i'd say he got away for sure. There's a reason so many cops don't chase bikes, complete waste of time.

@@TheMonkeynuts12345 The offending car here looks like its got NSW plates. Here (in NSW), it's stop on amber unless unsafe to do so. Here's the link to VicRoads: www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/safety-and-road-rules/road-rules/a-to-z-of-road-rules/traffic-controls-at-intersections

@@TheMonkeynuts12345 I believe in most if not all states, it is stop on an amber light unless unsafe to do so. The vehicle had plenty of time to stop safely and didn't (well unless he was speeding and/or had bald tires - never know he might even have hit the quintuple of also being unlicensed and unregistered). I guess with the benefit of Seb's link you've learned something as well as been entertained.

@@TheMonkeynuts12345 it's queensland. you may not legally run an amber light either im pretty sure in all states, unless it is unsafe to not do so. guy had plenty of time to slow down
@brianocampo79814 жыл бұрын
The car passed the stop line more than three seconds into the amber and clearly never tried to slow down, judging how fast it made the turn. So the argument that it was 'unsafe to stop' for the amber is out the door
