I love my 2 qt crockpot!! Definitely worth it. I don’t have the space for a larger one right now, and we’re a household of two, so it’s perfect for us.

I have a 2 at slow cooker. I've used it a couple times without any problems. Works great, especially for cooking for 1 or 2 people. My only complaint is you can't find recipes designed for this size, and I would love to see more!

My question is, how many hours on low, and how many on high! I want to leave it cooking for when I go to work for 9+hours..

I have a 1.5 litre Slow Cooker from a company called "Shef." I've had it for over 10 years and one of the things I love about it, is that it has an "Auto" function, it cooks on "High" for 2 hours and automatically switches to "Low" for however long you want, always 6 hours, in my case. So few cookers have this option and it looks like the newer versions have replaced "Auto" with "Warm." Not the same. I make a lot of stews/casseroles in mine. Throw everything into the pot, at 11 a.m. turn it on @ "Auto" and then go out for the day and return 8 hours later to a great smelling home and a ready cooked meal, with one portion for me and 2 for the freezer! 😋😋

Low n high and warm is all u need. Even the expensive ones have these settings. I’d like to see a rump roast get cooked in this thing. Or a chili or beef stew...

Great review. I've got a large one but am looking for something smaller that's just for me I can use. The glass top and the removal of the stoneware is a huge plus as some are plastic topped and can't be removed to put in dishwasher. These would be great gifts for those entering into dorms. Small and compact. Put what you need in then go to class and come back with ready meal.

Exactly! That's why we love ours as well. Very convenient, doesn't take up too much space and still gets the job done for a great price.

I finally bought the small crock pot version and was looking for small recipes to get an idea of what to make in it. I found a video that was about mistakes people often make when they use a crock pot and one of them was not putting enough food in it. The guide was to be half full or up to 3/4 full... too full and it overflows, too little food and it doesn't cook right. I thought of this when I saw your rice in the video. Do you think it would be a better rice cooker if there was more liquid? -- I am thinking chili, stews, meat and veggies, maybe my potato and sauerkraut that I love to be cooked long and dry and slightly browned... :-) ...I am trying to do more plant-based meals so I hope I can find more of those, but I still eat a little meat. Let me know about the rice. I hear rice and lentils are a healthy food together, so that would be great to do in the slow cooker, freezing what I don't eat right away.

I checked on the Amazon link prices and they are way more than the 9.99 at the local Bi-Mart here... but they are not carrying too many these days. I think the Insta-Pot has taken over.
